SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) students participated in a social marketing campaign called “Sticker Shock” to address underage drinking issues throughout Meriden. Students decorated local package store bags with stickers that said “Please Don’t Provide Alcohol to Teens” and hand written facts focusing on adolescent substance use. The local package stores received these bags and will use them with every purchase. This underage drinking campaign is to create awareness on the legal and health consequences associated with underage drinking and to deter people from providing alcohol to minors. Thank you to all the students and local stores that participated.
